México City; April 5, 2022 — The most comprehensive packaging and processing trade show in Latin America, EXPO PACK México 2022 (June 14-17; Expo Santa Fe), will showcase the latest packaging and processing technologies, innovative sustainable solutions and a cutting-edge educational program, according to show producer PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies.
This biennial four-day event will convene 700 exhibiting companies with packaging and processing professionals from over 40 vertical markets across over 16,000 net square meters of exhibit space.
Mundo PMMI will present EXPO PACK Keynotes for the first time in Mexico City, June 14 – 16 before the show opens. These one-hour keynote presentations will cover sustainability, automation and robotics, and the current state of the industry presented by packaging and processing experts from leading companies such as Walmart, Nestlé, Danone, Unilever, among others. The Packaging & Processing Women’s Leadership Network (PPWLN) will sponsor their inaugural event during the show with a panel of extraordinary women sharing their success stories.

Graciela Rojas Montemayor, Founder and President of the Mexican Movimiento STEM, Edurne Balmori, Gender equity and inclusion issues leader, Claudia Jañez, 25 years of experience in companies such as DuPont, Ford, GE and PepsiCo; and Laura Bonilla, Director of Corporate Affairs for Unilever Latin America North will share their inspiring stories. The Present and Future of Automation and Robotics in Packaging Operations: driving the digital transformation
Panelists Enmanuel Aparicio Velazquez, The Organization for Machine Automation and Control (OMAC) and Sergio Salinas, The Organization for Machine Automation and Control (OMAC) will highlight how CPGs can advance towards Industry 4.0/IIoT adoption, obtain greater interoperability, and improve efficiency at their plants through automation and robotics. They will also address the implementation of universal standards, such as PackML and more.
